This prepaid water meter is supplied as a Wall Mounted unit or an In Ground, Above Ground unit. It contains an STS compliant water management device and a user friendly keypad which has an LCD display. The keypad communicates with the water meter using Radio Frequency and enables the consumer to load credit, monitor available credit, meter status and battery status. The keypad takes replaceable AAA batteries.
This meter is an affordable, intelligent, electronic control valve that is capable of controlling the flow of water to a domestic consumer at full pressure. This unit has an affordable easy to replace battery pack (Lithium battery DC3.6V，replaceable).
The Laison prepaid water meter offers a pulse output water meter, in order to enable metering measurement, and tamper detection. When operating in Prepaid Mode the handheld keypad is the Customer interface unit for the water meter.
The Split Type STS Prepaid Water Meter Consists of two parts, a Prepaid Water Meter and a separate Customer Interface Unit (CIU), also known as a keypad with Radio Frequency Wireless Communication. The communication range is up to 100m, with clear line of sight.
